Thanks for the video
My pleasure! I was a "guest" in a lower (solo) group for this very last session of the event as I had missed my run group due to changing the pads. I was told to "play nice" besides I NEVER push at a last session as a matter of principle.
Hence my point by offer, which he declined as he wanted to follow. By doing so he got a PB, which was nice and I got the link to the vid from him which was also nice I need to improve on 4 corners and am convinced the car is capable of 10s on street tires (Provoste did 11.28 on damp track, which is UBER fast). Amazing car!

Maybe ive just been on track with slow caymans and gt4's, but ive passed all of them like they are in reverse. I am not very impressed with them and i saved $60k buying a camaro.

I'd say much depends on driver and tires but I'd agree that 1LE is a faster car and the only Pcars that have passed me thus far are GT3/Carrera Turbo category cars that cost multiples of our cars.

All this talk of Porsche's made me think about my last PCA event at Mid Ohio back in June. I realized I posted a single lap on RE71R's, but thought you guys might enjoy an entire session from warmup to cool down. This was on Friday (non-instructed open lapping day) of a 3 day track weekend, unfortunately the session after this-- one of my front RE71R corded. On fresher RE71R's, the 1LE could drop at least another 1-2 seconds.

No doubt the tires were close to being toast - yet great pace nevertheless. I did some 58s in my Vette there last year, so would expect the 1LE to do the same or better on fresh rubber.
Thx for posting the vid!

Never tried the S but loved the R1 (sans the S).
Ran them for a few seasons and loved them!
Great value for $

This is just for an entertainment value. Kudos to the Ford GT driver for taking it out to a track.
I suspect a vast majority will spend their lives appreciating in fancy shrines...

Lol, figured that was Luke's mid-o vid! Indeed on GT owner, great to see it used as intended. Side note- shocked how often I see 918's @ the track.

I've seen a Carrera GT but never a Spyder yet. But I tend to run with clubs (to support grassroots) vs privateer events where ritzy folk seems to gather with exotics
