Water spots on top of Reload

Any suggestions to remove water spots with 2 coats of Reload? Had sprinklers hit my SRX while on vacation, sun and heat baked them on. Did a quick rinseless today while on vacation, didn't take them off. Vinegar trick work well?

Water spots vary a lot. I have seen acid take it off (one thing I do not do by myself). Buffing most likely will work and water test. If it still beads then add reload. I still have water spots on my diesel windows that I think the only way I am getting them off is to buff the windows out with a glass buff kit. I tried the baking soda with vinegar and no difference. Detail guy tried acid and recommended due to time to buff next. Maybe Glen or a professional detailer will step in with better suggestions.

Take it all off gently and reapply reload

This may sound dumb but try plain water first. I have had good luck with water spots caused by water with mineral content (well water)

Unfortunately I did a rinseless wash the other day, no dice on the spots. Hard water here where I am right now.

Actually tried a little white distilled vinegar, spots came right off!

For water spots, try these in increasing severity (soak & blot, never wipe):
* plain water
* 50/50 distilled water + vinegar
* vinegar
* 50/50 distilled water + CLR
* CLR (for stupid-heavy caked on solids, such as from a retention pond fountain)

...or do what Glen says.

Heck I've had it happen twice in the last 2 weeks where the rain spotted my Camaro badly. Wouldn't come off with Adam's detail spray, but did once I washed the car.
