Question Fog light disable while DRL is on, 2016 2LT rs package?

Hello All,

I would like to know if is there any possibility
1: During Day: DRL on, Fog light(vertical lamp) off
2. During Night: DRL on and Fog light(vertical lamp) on.

I know point 2 is by default, but i was more interested in point 1.

There is no setting on the car to do this. You would have to unplug the lower DRLs from the fuse box

I was expecting some kind of third party harness or something.

Not sure if I am missing something but at night your auto headlights are on and during the day are the DRL. Two different things I would think.

We can make that happen if you like, but need some time, have to move the shop in 10 days and not doing any thing new till the move is over, but get a hold of us and lets make that happen together.

I am resurrecting this thread. I need something similar for my European 2018 Camaro.

So, I want to install those DRL/Fog lights that have been removed from the European model. It seems that apart from the lights, we also need a special harness, such as the one below:

https://www.gen5diy.com/collections/...marker-harness

However this harness is used for both the missing side markers and the missing DRL/Fog lights.

1. Where can we buy the missing DRL/Fog lights from?
2. Where can we buy the special harness but just for the DRL/Fog lights at a reasonable price?

Has anyone done this already at the EU model?

Lights would be eBay or if you’re lucky someone who’s parting their car out but I’m sure shipping would be quite a bit going to the Europe. By a special harness I’m guessing you want the harness that you linked from Gen5DIY, not many people have them I’m guessing and very rarely are they sold on eBay. Will have to be one of the things you have to buy straight from supplier (Gen5DIY).
