Got my Simple Chuck Water Deionizer

Well i tried my Simple Chuck water deionizer today and i must say i am very impressed. I did a quick hand wash and blasted the final rinse with the simple chuck and let it air dry.

Not a single water spot. Amazing.

Only downside on the unit is the push handle. It wont lock in the upright position so you can wheel it.

Comes with quick disconnects for the in and out part. Simple color change when the resin is bad

I would suggest getting this if you care about your car.

I've gone with rinseless washes and haven't looked back. But i have been on a hunt for something like this. My water is absolutely terrible. you cant wash/dry fast enough to prevent water spots. Very frustrating.

Yea I got this and I use rinseless as well. I was testing the handwash method to see how it all works.

You can fill the bucket with deionized water and then use rinseless soap. It will be a pure clean.

You can use this deionizer for the house windows and many more.

I've got the DIC-20 from them (CR) and it is the most important part of my wash process nearly since my water is so hard here in NJ where I live. You can hose it down mid day and it will dry spotless. I use it for everything water related around the car wash process.

What made you go this route instead of a whole house type of system? We have really hard water here in PA where i am at and i have been thinking about how i want to deal with it myself.

The whole house system is a waste because a deionizer is pure 100% water. ALl you need a is a basic house filter to make water better for the clothes and machines.

The Simple Chuck has wheels and is easy to store and has quick release lines. Also it is easy to store and control the use of it. You do have to replace the resin after about 400 gallons. The cleaner the water in the area the more gallons you will get. I think where I am in Jersey and my TDS meter shows 250. Total Dissolved Solids.

The simple chuck dropped the TDS to 0.04

Hard water is not what causes water spots.

A whole house water softner/filter won't stop water spots. The water needs to be deionized in order to avoid water spots which takes out all minerals, deionized water is actually unsafe to drink. I have the other system DIC-20 they work fantastic. I had an issue with my resin going bad after I drained it for the winter, but when it works, it works real well. If I could afford to waste the resin, i would use it for all the water steps when cleaning the car, but because I don't have that kind of wasteable income, I use it for final rinse only.
