Why does it sound camed?

It was a little cool this morning so I drove home without my ac on and the cars idle didn't seem right. At take off, it was a little jumpy but once I got home, I let it idle and it would consistently bog down just a little but it was noticeable with the ac off. If I turned the ac on, the idle would correctly its self and be smooth (like normal)... any ideas?

When you turn the AC on the RPM must jump a tad to power the AC. That is likely why it smoothed out your car is operating normally at higher RPMS. Other than that Im not sure what could be causes the issue besides throttle body not returning valves to their correct position. Someone else will have more depth on the subject than me.

It was right in between 500&1k so I'd say 800ish. And no lights came up

Mine did have an issue where it would idle low, like vibrate car low when coming up to stops/slowing down. It actually stalled out one day at a stop light one day and threw a low pressure code. The dealer updated TCM and it corrected it, has not dropped to low idle since. Maybe worth checking on.

That definitely sound like what I'm dealing with. Thanks!

Alright Ima take the car in tomorrow

On a side note Robert, I noticed you said you turned the AC off cause it was chilly out. You have climate control. Set the temp where you like it and forget it. Your Car will maintain that temp and you don't have to do anything.

I wish I could use Auto without AC. Works on my Mini, and isn't super useful with a convertible.

Would a drop of 10rpms be noticeable?? I hooked up a live data reader to my obd2 and the Rpms are dropping from 759 to 745 consistently
