Weird Rear end noise with video, need help figuring it out!

I have a weird noise coming from my rear end starts at low speeds and gets quieter at higher speeds , i have a dealer appointment wednesday , any ideas what could be causing it? Im completely stock 2ss, with npp

Can't even give you a good guess other than to say it sounds like some type of vibrating rattle from a dust shield or some other type of small metal part rubbing against the rotor maybe. Best wishes for the dealer to find it and make a fast, easy repair.

After thinking about what u said about something probally rubbing i was able to reproduce it at idle holding 1kpm and after my car warns up it goes away it appears to be my heat shield

I think its your npp valves rattling. The dealer has a fix for this.

No wonder that bugs you. That sounds like rocks in a clothes dryer! That is awful. At least you now know it's nothing rubbing the wheels or in the rear diff/half shafts since the sound happens in park. Interesting that it goes away once warmed up. Maybe it's in the exhaust system as mentioned.

Its defintely exhaust it sounds like its coming from the middle of the car where the afm / big heat shield is , might be the valves wednesday il find out :o
