So in that theory, a twin screw like the Maggie (I think?) would be able to make more power?

I always walked down twin screw cars with my centrifugal blower cars .. My 3v 07 mustang trapped 136 pulled like freight train and my 14 1LE was good for 141 mph traps with Paxton novi setup so I never cared if you were out on me a car or 2 by 660ft I am coming for you ..I call twin screw cars ...,Victims cause in the end they loose and a lot of time on the street they don't hook cause they hit hard to early

I also will be going the cetri route. I like that they run cooler, some people disagree and maybe at 8 psi it wont matter much but if your cranking em up i feel they run cooler. Id like to see the difference between IAT's on identicle cars running indenticle boost. Also the term heat soak technically happens when the cars hot then you turn it off. Whens the cars running i believe its just considered higher IAT's. Back on toppic, with lower IAT's come more performance of course, i personally want to do a procharger matched with a lt4 fuel system on a flex fuel tune. That sounds fun.

Aside from centri/PD decision, at what power level do you need to start worrying about piston ring failures (> 600 whp)??

It would seem to get there drop-in pistons and fuel system upgrade and a good tune is needed to stay safe, unless your content with lower power #s.

Problem is when does it stop. While the motor is out why not do the rods also? And also cam and heads etc. Good question about the rings, thats anyone's guess. I think at 600whp your safe. People have went above that by quite a bit allready.
