I Always really want these items but then I get to shipping and they want $500 for hood splitter and spoiler... I work in industry where freight shipping 2 pallets 7ft high 4ft SQuare costs $300 depending on location $500 is just nuts and keeps me from buying this stuff everytime. How does a hood cost $150 to ship then splitter and spoiler adds another $350.. I don't get it.

I priced shipping a hood across the country and it has been about $300. I was told the reason was not the weight, but the footprint that the hood takes up. I would buy one of these hoods but the price is so hard to swallow. I bought a CF hood last year and even though the quality was great and so was the fitment, my OCD found every strand in the CF that was not perfectly in line. When the sun reflected off of it, it was not uniform and it drove me nuts. I don't want to spend $1500 for a hood unless it's perfect.
