I've tried to be polite-- I've only hit up Becky once a week for status updates. The most recent one on Monday said 3400 'broadcast to production' but TPW was still 7/24. Next week I am going to hit her up every morning for an update .

It's probably better that it didn't get bumped up, since I haven't even put my Subaru up for sale yet, and I kinda need to do that before I buy the Camaro. May end up just selling it to Carmax, though that would leave several thousand on the table.

I've been trying to sell my audi. I need it gone before the car comes so i can put a large amount down. June/July worst months for used cars. I'll be doing the same most likely hahah!

Woohoo! 7/24 is here! Time to take a sheet of steel off the roll and stamp it into the shape of a 1LE!

I will do that. In the meantime here's a picture of someone else's HBM SS debadged:

I am thinking of photoshopping in a 1LE badge where the bowtie was, to see what it looks like.

Oh man! I ordered the black bowties but now I'm regretting it because thats beautiful. I love the rear end of these cars. Looks like a stock car. Mean.

I think a black bowtie for the front is perfect -- it just does not look quite right completely removed. But on the back I think going badgeless makes for a very clean look, and it doesn't leave so much space that you think something is missing.

These cars definitely look mean, and I'm loving it. I really like the 1LE spoiler, too.

I have a couple other ideas that I'm pondering but I haven't really decided what I think yet. First is getting a 50 style lower grill for the front. Maybe with HBM accents. And the second is wrapping the roof with the same vinyl the hood is wrapped with.

Hope our cars are getting built right now!

I checked status earlier today and it's still 3400. Hoping to see 3800+ soon.

Edit: I see you got your VIN. Congrats!!! Now hopefully it won't take too long to ship.

Thanks! They say this is the most inconsistent part so a seamless delivery would be a nice aphrodisiac

You're pretty close to Michigan (well, relatively -- I'm nearly 2000 miles farther away) so shipping to you should be very fast, as long as it doesn't hang out in the lot at the factory too long.
