What do you not get? EVERYTIME aka every situation I've been in I've assumed that they were older than 25. And without a doubt i know what their intentions were.

I do get it just fine, there is no way in that every person 25 gives you a dirty look every time you get out of your car!!!

im 59,driving an RS.however i paid cash for it,and could have done the same for an SS.BTW as long as you didnt say something nasty to me first i would have probably said"nice car".i look like an old hippie and dont choose to dress very nicely so ive gotten the eye roll too.i think the dealer was surprised when i came in dressed in a ratty tank top and shorts,tried a few cars and found "the one".when we started the paperwork he wanted to know what kind of payments i wanted to make and seemed surprised when i wrote him a check for the full amount.the last sentence of your paragraph seems a little negative,possibly the old lady didnt think you liked her much either.

well, u ar only 19, so most people are older than you, especially those old enough to drive.

but, dude, regardless of age, they are just jealous, i've had my neighbor and a colleague making my car out to be a midlife crisis, my neighbor also said i must be making too much money...i just love making people jealous, so just have a thick skin and shrug it off, who cares...you'll learn more about this as you mature.
