No crap, I'm sitting in my car right now and when I look over my shoulder, the headrest is not in the way at all. This is exactly what I see:

I had a 77 Ford F250 years ago that just had a bench seat and some clown rear ended me and I broke the back window with my melon.

Good times.

If you get in an accident which causes your head to snap backwards you can easily become paralyzed.

"Although scientists are making progress, the prognosis for reversing long-term paralysis is currently bleak. Whiplash, also called cervical acceleration / deceleration trauma, is caused by a sudden and violent movement of the neck. Such movement can cause damage to vertebrae and cervical tissue found in the neck."

Why are people still writing on this thread. It's over. The same thing has been said approximately 500 times. Let's move on like the OP has.

We "younger generations" don't have to look around because we are smart enough to know to get the 2SS with the blind spot monitors and motion sensors knowing that it's a Camaro and it is hard to see.

Us "older generations" are wise enough to know that BSM is not infallible, and we look anyway. I hope you were kidding . . .

LT4 Camaro, how did you remove your headrest? I’ve been trying to find a post describing the procedure but no luck. I’m planning on removing my original and replacing it with a cannibalized headrest to accommodate Mt helmet better. Any help would be appreciated.
