Mishomoto ugly hose clamps
When I first installed my mishomoto catch can on my car. Immediately saw the old fashion hose clamp and thought " damn them clamps ugly ass hell". So today I notice I had some Oetiker Stepless Ear Clamps, Single Ear Hose Clamps laying around. At that perfect sizes for the hoses. The hoses going towards the intake are (18.5mm ear clamps) and the hoses towards the catch can are (21mm). Removed the ugly screw clamps and installed the ear clamps. Personal is definitely a cleaner look. What do you guys think.....
Also if you decide to do this you'll need a clamping tool for the ear clamps!!!! |

I think the idea is everyone has a screwdriver....not everyone has the tool for the crimp rings. (used for plumbing)
..and less chance of damaging something with the screw driver as less force is used. But I do agree it looks cleaner

I use Gates Powergrip, use a heat gun or hair dryer to shrink them
