You should actually never use seat belts, also known as safety belts.......reason being, if you ever crash into a river, lake, pond, or ocean you will likely be trapped in your car and die.

If you break your neck you'll likely never walk again. You sure visibility is more important?

I don't know if you truly believe this or this is just pride. Please don't let pride end up possibly causing very serious injury. It's ok, we all do things we regret. Nothing wrong with admitting you were wrong here.

I've been rear ended at roughly 20 mph. Doesn't sound like much, doesn't feel like much. But my head did get bumped into my head rest. Who knows how much further back my head would have gone without the head rest?

Also, I saw it coming in my rear view mirror and I locked my foot on the brake hard so I didn't plow into the person in front of me and it STILL forced my foot off the brake completely. Luckily I managed to steer off to the tree lawn.

That was at 20 mph. Which caused $4700 in damage to my trunk and rear bumper of my old car.

You think you don't need your head rests? You are a f**king idiot, and I don't mince words I don't care what admin says.

Besides, if something happens and your or the other party's insurance company finds out you removed the head rests, you will have lots of explaining to do and headaches to deal with. Especially if you have a passenger in the car. Oh boy. Have fun with that.

No one in their right mind should ever ride with you without the headrest properly installed to begin with. You are taking on a huge liability. With legal ramifications.

Just hope no one ever rear ends you. I never thought I'd ever be rear ended, yet I was. It happens. That's why they have head rests.

'67 Beatles released Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band too. You know what?

That album is 50 years old! Just like your car! Still a great album, just like your car..... but it's still 50 years old lol

Using your '67 GTO as an example of why you don't need headrests

I thought I was the only one that knew that! Don't forget that you should never EVER wear a helmet because the extra weight on your head will break your neck in a crash.

Soooo do you wear a Batman suit? Like in Batman begins? Cuz that's what it seems like....I turn my head plenty lol.....I recall having been almost hit by the "older" generation due to them not looking at all quite a few times.....I find the "younger generation" comment to be hipocritical in a way.....

To me, I'd think the older generation would learn from the past of people coming out of a rear end collision and such with a neck brace when it could be avoided....

Seems to me he is having fun with us because there is no logical reason I can see where removing the head restraint would improve visibility, except for looking at the back seat directly behind you.

Yeah, lets just throw out the last 50 years of scientific and technological advancement. After all, if it was standard in 1967, it should be good enough today.

In 1967, 90% of the road wasn't occupied by distracted ass-hats speeding around in massive SUV's, pick-up trucks, and crossover vehicles. You're pretty much screwed if you're hit hard by one of these vehicles while cruising around in a '67 GTO.
