Talking Sound clip - Texas Speed 2" headers to NPP mufflers (no cats)

Just a short clip (plan on doing a longer one), but I am in love with how the car sounds so I had to push out a quicky. Cold starts are loud, so I'm sure the neighbors don't like me at 6:30AM when I leave for work. Cruising down the highway it's just every so slightly louder than stock. <25% throttle it is VERY tame...put your foot down and it screams!

TSP 2" primary headers to off-road (catless) X pipe to stock NPP mufflers.

I had CBI Street Cars here just outside of St. Louis do the install since he offered me a killer price. Since my DD got destroyed and I haven't figured out what I want to do for a new beater, the Camaro is my only car so I needed to install done fast. I dropped if off on a Tuesday night right before the 4th of July, CBI knocked it out and had it ready for me the next afternoon.

DSX Tuning (out of Austin) took care of the tuning. Dave is offered top notch customer service on what I needed to buy to make this a painless remote tuning process. I bought DSX's flex fuel kit, HPT Pro, and a wideband and we dialed the tune in very quick.

Fall can't come soon enough for some good track times.

I have this exact combo going in next Monday and I absolutely can't wait. This sounds so nasty. Thanks for the upload! Looking forward to hearing some extended vids.

Sounds like mine.

I like wot and startup. But at certain rpms and or mild acceleration it sounds really tinny/raspy

As to your neighbors, have you tried stealth mode for start up? Curious how that sounds, your impressions. My plan is to go headers but use stealth for start up. I do that now with the Borla mid pipe alone, it is pretty loud on cold morning starts.

would borla midpipes bolt up to TSP catless longtubes? I have Kooks long tubes and really want borla midpipes to go into my stock NPP. Anyone know if it'll work?

You won't be disappointed. My girlfriend knows nothing about cars, but she describes it as sounding "like a racecar."

I would definitely agree. I think that's partially due to the mufflers. I would think with cats it might get rid of that, but oh well. I'm happy.

I could be very wrong here, so someone correct me if I am...but as I understand it, I believe stealth mode uses the AFM valves AND the NPP valves. My X-pipe doesn't have provisions for the AFM valves, so those are gone so now Stealth mode is the same as Tour mode.

Anything can fit with some work.

If you engage stealth mode before shut down, the next time you crank it, the valves will be closed. The initial start up farts will be muffled. In tour, this is not the case. The valves will be open on start up.

Anyone know how these would compare to the Stainless Works, ARH or Kooks? Clearance, materials, welds?

An if you DONT do this before shut down, you can hold the start button for 5 secs to put the car ON/ACC mode, you can then choose stealth before starting the car and it will cycle the NPP valves
