Ceramic coating

Hello. Thinking about ceramic coating. Anyone out there have any thoughts or recommendations?

Check out the detailing subforum here. Lots of good information on ceramic coatings.

I personally am considering buying the Adam's Polishes ceramic coating kit, but for now have just been using their H20 G&G wet sealant.

IMO getting your car clear bra'd is going to provide more protection. I know people who have gotten rock chips through their ceramic coating.

yes, it is worth it if you plan on keeping the car for a while. You can easily do it yourself as well.

Do it - don't hesitate - just find what works for you as far as quality installer etc.. No, it will not protect rock chips.. but ive put mine through at least 50 car washes since and the paint is flawless.

Just remember that both clear bra and ceramic coatings will only preserve the finish you start with.

Make sure your paint is as flawless as you can get it BEFORE applying either/both coatings.

Agree 100%. Finding an EXCELLENT Detailer was crucial for me. Paint requires correction prior to the ceramic, and I do not have the knowledge or experience to do this. It took me a while to find a Detailer, and yes, it was well worth the wait and the cost in my opinion........

100% worth it.

Had it on my '16 C7 for 18 months. Upkeep was minimal, benefits were many. You can literally hose the dirt off your car and it'll look like it was just washed and waxed. It'll be pricey up front, but amortize it over 2 years of not having to worry about it, and ease of upkeep, and it's worth it.

I would def do ( paint correction, Clear bra, than coatings) I love just foam cannon wash with some mild sponge and it maintains so well esp with just blow drying. I found ceramic pro to be the best I hated crystal serum

I used the Adams ceramic kit and am very pleased with the results. Highly recommend a ceramic coating even if you don't end up going with Adams.
