19x11 square setup on 1LE

Is anyone with a 1LE running a 19x11 square setup? I'd like to have 19x11 but was told by an HRE rep that it wouldn't be possible without it sticking out too much. I know the spring perch is an issue so just wanted to see what options are out there? I was looking at the HRE ff04's. Thanks.

i dont think they make the hre ff04 in 19x11 in 5x120 only 20x10 20x11 ?

The FF04s come in 19"s also and the rep didn't say it didn't come in 19x11 only that it wouldn't fit right up front.

That 19" fitment I told you about we do not advertise as available for Camaro so some may be confused by what you said. We have a 19x10 ET35 that can be used with spacers to run a square fitment which is what you mentioned you'd like to go with.

Got it, didn't mean to cause any confusion. Correct, I said I want a square setup up but also need to do more homework because I don't want to lose an inch of width in the rear.

All good, just wanted to clear it up just in case anyone may have been confused.

Sounds like you'll have to compromise somewhere if you want a square set up.
Square 10"s and you loose that 1" on the rear. Go with 11"s on all four and you won't loose the inch on the rear, but that extra 1" of width up front will cause the wheel to stick out 1" from the fender. When speaking of the ZL1/1LE fitment wheels, there is no more room inboard which means that extra inch has to be pushed outside the fender well, otherwise it'll cause suspension clearance problems.

It all depends how crazy you are. I'm running 18x11" square, but it requires offset MCS struts if you don't want it to stick out. I'll likely go to 11" front, 12" rear for next season.

If I had a 1LE and didn't want to lose magride, I'd just do 19x10/11".

Great info thank you rotis. I'm not sure how long I'll keep the car that's why I haven't scrapped the MRC yet.

The MCS struts you're using I'm assuming are offset to give more inboard clearance yeah? I've seen similar with JRZ and other high end brands like that which help with overall clearances on the inboard side.

What's the purpose of running square? What I mean is, for you, why do you want to do it? Rotation? Mitigate push? You could make it work, but not without different F and R wheel offsets, thus making cross rotations impossible. You could probably make a 19X10.5 work if you used a spacer up front, and a 19x10 could definitely work, but then you'd be limiting your rear tire significantly and I wouldnt want to do that.

Yes, they give more room to the strut. The strut ears are also designed to be able to run smaller diameter wheels (18") without interfering with the inside lip. at -3.7deg it's nowhere near the fender up top. 11.5" wheels are possible.

I'm able to run 18x11 +23mm, I'm running more camber than what is pictured, so the tire is a bit closer... but still doesn't rub with the amount of tire deflection experienced at 1.2G of cornering on concrete. I'd like to run ZL1 fenders and 12" up front. Gotta get this pig to turn.

Forgestar F14 18x11 +43 square with 315/30-18 BFG Rival-S.

I run 20mm spacers in front for an effective offset of +23. I can rotate front/rear to even out the wear after burnouts and drag launches at ProSolo events, heh.

Forgestar wheels are a great value and very inexpensive, the only downside is waiting 8+ weeks (at best) for them to be made.
