Joe, NO PROBLEM with 3.125 pulley, could even go smaller. BooCoo adjustment left. I put it at center of the spring tensioner, (black marker fully tight) maybe tighten more later. But had no belt slippage before. Just had to move the ribbed adjustable pulley to drive side slightly. I'll see what happens between the 9PSI and 6PSI tune later today...lol. I'm sure I'll get a PO171 or 174 code. But no matter, back to the tuner/dyno next week. Hopefully I can get some better numbers, then the first 95 degree (overheated, heat soaked) BS numbers...

Well, looks like I need to find another Dyno company. Big 3 Racing, Hinckley, Ohio believes they did a great job. $130.00 labor to install 7 plug wires, the 8th one didn't plug it into the coil, GREAT JOB...LOL. The dyno graph (what a joke) I don't believe they ever really saw one. My Camaro has over 1500 ft lbs of TQ, and under 6200rpm. So, for $650.00 I have NO idea of anything. Except, bring it back in with more money, and they'll charge me more. I wasn't going to throw them under the bus till I was told (first was $100.00 to fix it) now its $150.00 an hour. Still have CEL's, will probably be an other couple hours. YES, Great Job...at theft.....lol. Atleast they can do that right.

LOL, Ya Joe, story of my life. I'm looking for the paperwork they gave me (they threw it in the back seat) so I didn't see it till I got home. I was going to post it (so everyone gets a good laugh) I might have thrown it away (or used it as toilet paper) I tried working with them. Maybe "American Greed" will do a story on them. LMAO.

What RPM are you guys spinning your blower with this small pulley that Whipple hasn't even used yet? I'm just curious what heat you will generate under typical driving conditions and at max RPM. Fuel, that's relative. If you will have enough or not depends on the exact motor haha.

Brett, sorry to hear about your lug headed dyno guys. Weapon X is somewhat in your area though. Those guys are decent and should be able to present you respectable work and results. They are huge Whipple guys too. Joe's personal car is the CTS-V that was on all the Whipple websites before they started getting kits out from what I was told.

3.125 pulley will be here FRi. That should be 9psi boost. Back to dyno first or, pull SC for repair?? No matter what I'll be down 1:1/2 -2 weeks.

Weapon X, Thanks, I'll do a search. There's another (well a couple in the area)
Big Shot that I'm going to call. I should have know better, when they couldn't get HPtuner to work the first day. Then, 95 degrees outside (like Hell inside) and they keep doing pull after pull (two little fans blowing)
No idea on RPM, or heat yet (one short drive to check it out, performance)
Pulling the SC this weekend to send it back for repair.
Then start ALL over again (dyno/tune) $$$$.
Good to see you back. I enjoy your input. Like Joe, looking at PSI boost.
I was told to "KEEP" it around 10psi, I should be at 9psi. (Not to exceed 10psi)
It seems to be more powerful, lost the throttle flat spot.
We'll see.

Short drive this-morning, It's quieter in sport mode, and the whipple whine is now there....COOL
Defiantly has more HP (spunk)

Good Tom hear it seems to be running better. You know as well as anyone, with that PD blower sitting on the intake it needs more time and air flow than usual due to heat soak. If those nimrods were running it pass after pass in the heat of the day (after roasting a big harness against the header) I would definitely get it out of their hands like you did haha! I hate to hear you are dealing with all these issues though. We do this so we can have fun with the cars, notmwrk on them!! Although I was playing with my torque tables and my mass air/ fuel settings on the tune tonight. Was able to get 4 more HP out of the adjustments haha

Is Weapon X then where that first Whipple vid on youtube came from that was in the Caddy? If I remember that vid right guy says "First LT1 Whipple..." real short vid next to nothing no real revs.

Gluck Brett! That is some shady practice them guys were providing.
