Best rock guards?
Who makes the best rock guards for these cars? I was looking at the zl1addons or the Rpi ones. My two biggest concerns are not being gloss so they match the satin color there and that they are large enough to do their job.
Thank you! |

I have ZL1 on mine.... they are not satin but they look very good... ill post pictures on mine tomorrow during the day. THEY DO THE JOB... so i absolutely recommend this no matter what brand you go with, I think ZL1 are bigger and protect more

These are GM, come painted or primed. Kinda pricey but nice (I think)

+1 for the zl1 addons rock guards. I'm very happy with the look and fit.

I have the ZL1 addons and am happy with them. They are a matte textured finish, not a perfect match for the 1LE satin but not very noticeable. The spacers to install the rear guards are a little too long in my opinion leaving a slight gap. I plan to trim them and maybe add some additional double sided tape to the rear.

My plan was ZL1 rock guards on rear with ACS ZL1 style side rockers.
Do the side rockers keep the paint chips off the fender panel in front of the rear tires? |

Just installed my zl1 add ons yesterday like the look but honestly after seeing them I feel as though they would have been easy to make thinking of taking mine off and making a template just in car I end up breaking one so I can make a replacement.

Ordered the ZL1 Addons guards before I even took delivery of the car & installed them as soon as I got home. While they do a good job of protecting the area directly behind the front wheel, I'm still getting chips on the rear of the rocker & panel directly above it after 8700 miles. I think the fronts need to be bumped out another 1/4" - 3/8" of an inch... Will be trying this out shortly...

I have the ZL1 addons premium ones, but I also have clear bra on the rockers and on the steel above the rocker. Every time i drive, I see marks on the clear from thinks that got past the rock guards.
