Sorry I'm a noob to this but is this how I make my oil change appointment? Through My Chevy app?

Best way is to call the dealer.

Just give your local dealership a call.

In my experience, dealerships have too many whacky rules about oil changes. Ask to talk to an advisor or somebody in the service bay. I've had online appointments cancelled repeatedly with no explanation until I called, and they said they are done by walk-in only. I've done walk-ins and been told it was too late in the day. Ultimately, I had to get an advisor on the phone and commit to the fact that if I showed up at a specific time and day I would not be turned away.

I drive to the dealer, pull into the service center, and tell them I want an oil change and tire rotation. I've never waited more than an hour. Maybe mention it if you have a couple of free oil changes, but they should be able to see that in the computer.

Can't rotate tires on the SS. Or at least that's what the dealer told me. I thought you could at least switch sides.

If you do make an appointment in the app you will get an email confirming it by your preferred dealership. Shouldn't have any problems.

Depends on the tires. I don't know for sure on a 6th gen, but if your wheel are different sizes front to rear AND you have unidirectional tires, then they cannot be rotated.

But at least they can be inspected for tire wear.
