ZL1 Trunk issue

Just went outside to my car and attempted to open the trunk via the remote. Strangely, it isn't opening and I tried doing it from the inside but it doesn't look like that is working either. Any one else experienced this issue by any chance?

Emergency trunk lever

The other day, I unhooked the battery and couldn't open the trunk so tried the emergency handle in the trunk and it did not work either. I guess the emergency handle requires power as well? (I know it was stupid)

Doesn't work either. Lights flash and that is all while the trunk stays closed.

For a car this expensive we expect things like this to just work without any issues. The emergency break shouldn't require power just to open it, if this doesn't work today I'll have to take it into the dealer tomorrow.

I think I've identified the cause of the issue, the emergency trunk latch was loose. This caused the car into thinking that the trunk was open when it looked as if it wasn't. I opened the trunk from the inside and closed the trunk harder (after ensuring the emergency latch was secured first)

Mine does it all the time. If it doesn't open press down on the trunk and hit open on the keyfob again and it will open. I think the wing is heavy so it doesn't pop correctly.
