BMW 343's

I just scored a set of 2014 M6 Grand Sport Bimmer rims on craigslist for $600! Rumored to only have 3000k on the set before the owner ditched them for new forgelines. These should work great because they're the same 5x120 bolt pattern and a slightly bigger hub size. Also, I did weigh these wheels on an old mail scale prior to install. Stock wheels were over 55lbs. Rear 343's were around 50lbs and the front 343's were around 45lbs.

Old 9.5" wide 245's vs new 11.5" wide 295 pilot super sports.

Stock 245's left side vs new 295's on the right.

Aluminum spacer rings to fill in the gap. 67.1mm to 72.6mm from amazon for $12.

Spacer rings installed.

Back wheels definitely have some poke. I had to bolt up my 25mm spacers to the front to even up the offset. I have a set of center caps on the way with some corvette crossed flag decals to finish these new shoes off.

What the heck?! I guess photobucket isn't free anymore. They want $400 to enable third party hosting!

I did change all the pictures to google pics but can't seem to figure out how to make the image appear in a forum setting. If anyone can change it I'd appreciate it.

Use Imgur.com, it's just better.

Thanks Curr. Imgur is way better. Still can't believe photobucket did that.

Just finished off the wheels today with new center caps. Unfortunately, the new one's I ordered in were a couple mm's too small. I was forced to peel the metal emblem's off the stock BMW caps and sand them flat on the belt sander to use my new crossed flag emblems. They turned out pretty neat but I'm feeling the black look. Tomorrow they're getting washed, sanded and painted a satin black.

Now you need to fix this wheel gap. Looks like a 4x4.

I was just about to say the same thing. Looks like you checked the box for the offroad package.

Last update on the 343's. It does look a little high, probably because the pics are right after I took it off the jack stands. It'll settle down in a couple miles. Also, the rears are 295/30/20. If I put on a 295/35 it would fill that rear gap a little.

I spent about 4 1/2 hours on these guys yesterday. It took about 3 1/2 cans of vht satin roll bar paint and 2 cans of vht matte clear wheel paint.

The rears hang out but the tread stays under the fender wells. The front wheels tuck under almost as much as the stock wheels. I fixed that with a set of 20mm wheel spacers. The pics up top when they were silver were with 25mm spacers. Didn't like them due to they threw every rock into the rear quarters of the car.

Why would you do that? The silver offset the color so much better... Looks like the stock wheels again... lol
