WTF!!! P&S Brake Buster stains
This is freakin awful.
Just went through cleaning my wheels using brake buster and it stained all 4 of my wheels. This is brand new wheels that I bought 2 weeks ago. Sprayed on, waited 1 min and cleaned it off and now I am left with stains. First I thought it was water spot of some sort (which i thought was ofd because i use spotless wash) and I couldn't get it off. I freaked out and tried to buff it off with meguires 105 and this stain doesn't go away. I think I am totally screwed. I guess it was stupid of me to believe things I watch on youtube. This sucks.... ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You're right, that sucks. I have the OEM black painted wheels that GM replaced because the paint was starting to peel off. The dealership told me to only use soap and water on the replacements, rather than wheel cleaning chemicals. I treated them with CQuartz and Reload soon after I got the car back from the dealership. Just moving them around in my garage and leaning them against stuff, I scuffed them slightly here and there. I swear the paint on the OEM wheels is more delicate than the paint on the car itself.
What kind of wheels are those? I wonder if you have any recourse with P&S. I would bet they have some sort of disclaimer that says "try it on some inconspicuous spot first", which nobody ever does. Good luck, I hope you get this squared away. Bill

These are MRR 1LE replica. Yeah there was a warning that sayid try it on small spot first which I ignored because i have seen this used on exact same wheel with no problems. I guess i will need to get it powder-coated if I can't stand it any longer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That sucks. Exactly the reason I never use any type of wheel cleaner. They are not safe. Soap and water for my wheels.

Try pressure washing with hot water at a car wash place. Idk if will work but I would give it a try.
