I picked up two of these myself yesterday. Got 'em at the Sam's Club in Cheektowaga, NY (Buffalo).

Yeah you beat me to it. It came out on 6/30/17. It's a TSB not a recall though.

My thoughts exactly, not wanting to spend Sunday in the hotel parking lot taping the car, lol.

I will just deal with it, not the first trip the car made sans tape. I can always fix the damage later.

Most welcome Jim!

And yes I much prefer TSB to recalls as well. Although sometimes, depending on the shop, they don't know to look at the TSBs, even if you print it out and bring it to them.

For those considering "dustless" pads, you might want to do it sooner than later. While looking through the 2016 shop manual I noticed step 1 in replacing rear pads is: Install scan tool and retract rear caliper pistons. Obviously not required when car has low miles as proven by all those who have replaced their pads but when pads are worn down the new ones may not fit without using a scanner to retract the piston.

2016 manual finally released http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=475154 way too much for the wrong year but on post 50 there is a link to a download for a pdf version for under $30.00. I figured 90 percent or more is probably the same and for that money I would buy it.
