Warranty transfers?
From my research so far it seems that the warranty transfers to the new owner as long as its within its warranty window. My question is there any paperwork involved for it to transfer over when the car is sold privately? My searches on the forum didn't yield any promising results. Perhaps I was using the wrong key words. Thanks

Ok, so I went to https://my.chevrolet.com/warranty and added the VIN to my profile (my garage) and it seems to transfer over. I think who ever is the current owner is irrelevant as the warranty goes with the VIN. According to this my bumper to bumper is good until OCT 19.

No many how many owners a car has in the first 36/36k miles it still is covered unless someone modified it with something that would void that warranty.

The actual warranty is on the vehicle, not the owner. Transferring only comes into effect with extended warranties ( Service Contracts)
