Dang, I didn't know all camaro's were so injury prone. All in all this was a nice pity party. lol.
I'm getting some quotes on the cheapest way of getting the damage hidden. My first preference is getting it sanded and resprayed nightfall grey or matte black. My second is getting the hood wrapped matte black. Third is getting matte black racing stripes. |

I feel your pain. My last truck was a magnet for mayhem. Hit 3 times with only being able to catch 1 of them.
So far so good with the 1LE. I did have a mattress fly out of a truck at me 5 minutes from the dealer. It didnt take flight thank god and went to the next lane over. That was fun. For those of you that dont park far away from the nonesense.....start. plus its good excercise.

Man, that sounds like my luck, and why I don't drive the Camaro much. Paying that much for something only to have idiots trash it enrages me. I usually take it out for nice weekend cruises or park where I can prevent people from getting too close. But you can't always prevent it. I came out to my car recently and saw a long white streak down the side of my rear quarter. It looked like a scratch or paint rub. I have no idea how it got there but I was livid. Luckily it polished right off and there is no dent.
I think if I caught someone actually leaving a dent in my car, I would dismantle their entire vehicle and leave it looking like some abandoned Ikea furniture in the middle of the parking lot. I have a Milwaukee impact set and I'm not afraid to use it.

I was looking at your pictures again and it suddenly came to me why don't you just get it straight touch up the paint words down to the metal either pay and get it painted as in painted on stripes or just pick up some vinyl stripes for $200 or so off of eBay and get somebody with a steady hand or a shop to put them on problem solved it should cover the trunk and the hood skip the roof good to go

I always park near the back of the lot now.
On one hand you're getting away from people who don't care about dinging your car with their door. On the other hand if it's too far out, you risk a jealous jerk or just some kids trying to be funny messing with your car. I noticed a front bumper rub on my car that was not there the other day.. Really ticked me off. |

Well, I think this friday it's all going to get taken car of. I'm going to putty and sand the dents smooth, then its going into Auto Image and Detailing in Pittsburgh for a matte black hood wrap.
