Beautiful car, nice mods!
My pleasure. Already obtained my judging sheet via email (197 points out of 200 ain't bad, considering I got rained on while driving there).

I got my next small mod in the mail since you've seen me, LOL.

CONGRATS again! Your 45th is sweet, glad you brought both cars.

This one looks like it fits. M12 x 1.75 per a few places I looked at. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000JWOPH8

Heath, since you just changed the oil, do you have torque specs per chance?

Bill posted the link to the one I got. Was driving home from work. Got a rattle in the truck I can't pin down so was under the bed looking otherwise would've posted sooner.

Thanks man! Any idea what the bolts are for the oil catch can?

And while we are at it, where to find the torque specs on everything else? I have a feeling I'm going to need this as time goes by. Haha!

I don't torque drain plugs, I just use my "torq-wrist" to feel how tight it is. Don't get me wrong, it is odd that I feel the need to torque most everything else, but not the drain plug. Weird.

Not sure on that. As for the other torque settings I have them written down in my tool box for things I will need. Rest I google lol

Ok guys, don't yell at me.

Just had my oil changed by the local dealer this week. This was the second of two free services (first one was done at Rodgers Chevy). That might change in the future. Not a horrible experience but I'm just a little uncomfortable having them do it. They do quite a bit of Corvette and Camaro sales (nothing near what Becky does) and service. However they did just change ownership.

Unfortunately I live in a neighborhood that doesn't allow car maintenance in the driveway. (Yeah, I'm not really thrilled with that either.) I could always do everything in the garage but I also don't have all the necessary tools and such. That may change soon.

I have also thought about going to the base Hobby Shop but I'm concerned about the lift points (if not on a roll on lift). Guess I just need to get off my lazy butt and (homage to LTCG) "Git Er Done!"

Anyway

Met a fellow F1FTY owner at Epcot's Test Track today, he's a Disney employee. If you're are ever there, look for a guy named Christopher and give him a big Club F1FTY high five. He bought Prod Seq #14 off the showroom floor at a dealership in July of last year! He now lives a couple miles from me...

Of course I invited him to this forum and the super secret Book of Faces page. Hopefully he shows up!

Nah not weird. Two things you don't want over torqued or cross threaded...oil filter and oil drain plug.

Well we know the first one was done correctly then. Lol.

But seriously, some people don't have the ability to change their own oil for whatever reason. Like your no working on the car in the driveway HOA rule. It happens.

Just have to watch the dealerships if uncertain or unsure. All there is to it.
