STB clearance with blower

I've been looking around a little and haven't found much positive information. Does anybody make a strut tower brace that clears either a whipple or a magnuson heartbeat? I've got a convertible and would rather keep it in place for structural reasons. Any first hand experience is welcome, as well as any googlers that are better than me at searches.

With the Maggie you can order it with the "C7 corvette" lid which will clear strut tower braces.

Wasn't that lid discontinued due to overheating?

I thought someone mentioned an aftermarket brace that had more clearance...but that was to fit a procharger iirc

Good suggestion if it doesn't degrade performance, thank you. I've done some more searching for STB's and still haven't found anything without swapping lids. I've noticed the new ZL1's don't use STB's either, so I'm assuming it wouldn't clear an LT4 blower either.

Only the convertibles are equipped with a STB.

There is about a 5 flywheel HP difference between the lids, temperature has nothing to do with it, the Camaro lid just has a bit more plenum volume.

I believe the STB someone was suggesting in another thread is this one:
http://m.bmrsuspension.com/?page=pro...productid=1796

But it says it won't fit the ZL1 so possibly not the magnuson either.

ZL1 TVS1740 lid is probably taller than the C7 maggie lid. I'll try to remember to check for sure.

Also looks like BMR is developing a taller brace...
