I Can admit, I am a punk when it comes to driving certain speeds when Im cornering. I always feel like I might flip over Lol.
But when I have MRC on say, trak mode (usually Im in tour mode because bmore has F***** up roads.) them same corners feel like Im not even turning the wheel. Need my MRC!!

I drove both, and really wanted MRC, but it wasn't a "must have" after driving several with it. I love the handling of my SS without it though, so don't really question my decision to save some $.

No MRC. Would be a great option to have but it really isn't needed to be a fantastic car to drive.

After driving both, I prefer the non MRC suspension you can predict it every time.

I don't think you need the MRC, my friend has one without it and it feels fun yet comfortable.

On the 1LE it helps with the ride more since the springs are stiffer.

You don't need it. It does make it feel a bit nicer but if you're only really strutting around town it's not really all that more useful. If you like to do some spirited canyon runs or track runs, you may want it.

Have driven both and ended up with non. I don't think I would have ever used tour mode, I'm more fond of a more rigid suspension feel anyway. Both cars handled fantastic so wasn't enough of a difference for me to really care about.

Well today was a clean out the shorts event on 92 westbound in Union City. A Mini (red with racing stripes) took my lane on the freeway while I was in it. How it did not contact my car I don’t know. Far left lane on freeway hard high speed left towards the wall... an over-correction back to lane and centered the steering - My week old 2SS stuck the landing back into the lane - an oh sh*t moment that turned out great.

If I had been in the 4Runner or the Outback it would likely have been different- not an ideal way to try out stock 2SS handling and suspension- but by God it’s a winner.

Close call but man what a great handling car.

2017 2SS NON MAG

Ride is awesome on Charlotte, NC Roads. I have not driven the Camaro MAG but I have driven BMW X5 and BMW 4 series with Active Suspension and I don't miss it a bit.

Interesting. Would I be reasonably correct to say/assume that MRC doesn't necessarily make the car handle better as far as limits go, but is able to make the ride more compliant when the limits are not approached/needed?

I've never driven a Camaro equipped with MRC, but I'm very happy with the standard SS suspension (FE3?). The ride quality is very good, especially on the highway. Moreover, if you plan to keep the vehicle long term, you'll appreciate only having to spend a fraction of what it would cost to replace the struts and shock absorbers on a vehicle equipped with MRC.
