Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm not 120% sure but as far as I know, it is possible to by a ZL1 (manual or auto) and add the 1le package on?? Full suspension, and aero right?

Yes, same car and everything fits, but it will cost way more that way.

Might be a pick and choose thing for me. Doubt I will change brakes just for red rotors also won't change out all bushings, but front grill and rear spoiler are nice swaps.

DSSV and wheel tire combo would be the best upgrade... but then you lose mag ride.

Also, the grill and dive planes are not gloss black so then there's that too.

That means it's possible to have a automatic zl1 1le. But then I feel like it wouldn't be authentic

Pretty damn close minus the heritage of 1LE always being manual. But it would be pretty dang authentic. 1LE is an add-on option package, no posing or badge changing here.

Not possible for the 2018 ZL1. I tried

I tried to select an auto 1LE.

When ordering a ZL1 and you select the A1Z package the GM ordering prohibits the selection of an Auto Trans.

Unless there's a super secret GM decoder ring somewhere.

Maybe in 2019 things will change.

I understand that but that's not the method I'm talking about. Say you buy a 2018 zl1 10 speed auto and decide "hey I want everything the 1le comes with".. would it be possible to go to a dealer, order all the differences and have them install it? Even tho it's a 10 speed auto??

I would think adding the DSSV dampers will be the trickiest part of the upgrade since you're going to have to deal with all the stabilitrak warnings and codes after unplugging the mag ride shocks.

Not a problem and can be turned off. DSSV from the Z/28 is actually one of the GM Performance parts upgrades for the SS and ZL1.

I may very well do this for two reasons. Wider tires wheels and adjustable dampers.

Probably best to wait for someone to wreck and use the donor car.
