2000 mile road trip.
So I took my first really long road trip. 2000 miles from Phoenix AZ to Monterey CA in 5 days. Wow I love my car. 2 Complaints, 1. I need to get rid of these runs flats, man they are so noisy. 2. After driving for 3 or more hours, the car experienced that slow turn over then start up. Each time it happened I had been driving for hours. It's concerning because it sounds like the car won't start but it does. Other than that, CA 1 is so much fun to drive my M6 on. I got 22 mpg and I don't drive light. I just love this car. It's funny in AZ I don't see many gen 6's, but in CALI they were a lot of them.

After going through the first set on mine I went with the Conti DWS 06 All-Season tire. Way better. Most are running Michelin's though.
The strter heat soak is a "problem" for everybody. No idea why it happens. |

I'm looking forward to driving up to Show Low, the Salt River Canyon will be a fun drive. Let me know if you're interested, maybe we can plan a weekend drive up and back.
