No, 3.5 is not that, unless I'm leaking like a freak, or dyno is screwed. But NO actual. (no real hard numbers). 6psi is UNEXCEPTABLE.

Dealer can't clear code, unless GM gives them an access code. Great, can't re-flash, WTF.
No matter right now, thing runs great....LOL

Mine makes 8 PSI with a 3.25 pulley at 5800 feet - exactly what it should. I think stock kits are getting 8 to 9 psi at sea level DA. Your other mods will lower your boost a bit from stock. If the fuel system supports it you may be able to go to a smaller pulley and really crank it up. Your builds getting real now. You'll be kickin ass soon.

I knew I'd loss some boost. As far as HP and TQ with the 3.5 pulley might be better now. They seem to run better on 8 cylinders rather then 7. Tuner left a plug wire off (good help is hard to find)
Now is the wobbling input shaft, then I'll drop to 3.125 pulley.

You're gonna need a tire solution before you go to that 3.125 pulley. I can't hook up without your headers and custom tune. How's it coming along Brett? Are you melting asphalt yet?

I still have the SS 275's and can blow them into smoke at highway speeds. Once these go bald I'm going with the ZL1 or 1LE replica rims and 305 or 315 in something that hooks up better than the stock run flats.

Funny story, I had a WRX all stickered up hopping next to me insisting on a roll race. I punched after him and left a rolling cloud of smoke for a good hundred yards as I blasted by. He had to emerge from my smoke cloud wide eyed with his mouth literally hanging open. ( This was in Mexico ).

Tires will make a huge difference. That's why I was suggesting to Brett to start figuring on a tire solution. We can fit a 315 on the 11" rim by moving a wire harness with minimal rubbing. That should change my car from a smoke generating machine to an honest performer.

Well guys, still NOT a lot of joy yet. P/U car from dealer today. Butt heads didn't tie back the electrical harness laying on the headers...lol. They had to see it (under the radiator res) Now it does back for them to repair wiring. Then SC goes back to be fixed (wobble) I'm trying to get Whipple to send a stripped housing. Then I'll transfer parts, and reinstall. This has been the job from hell, I regret doing it (NOTE TO SELF: ....self, leave it alone)
Tires? I thought about the 305s, I thought wheel well mod for 315s??????
305s will fit without mod???

Yes. I run them on my stock 9.5in. Just relocate wiring harness.

I've talked to a Whipple owner and he said his car is getting 9 psi, even with headers. Car (M6) showed 612hp on the dyno; the same guys dyno tested my stock A8 at 395hp for some reference on what that number means. His car is tapped out on fuel supply (regular SS not a 1LE) so my opinion is, you should upgrade your fuel system before trying 12psi at low altitude. We are at low altitude here.
