Just realized the stock x-pipe is 2.75inches and my connection pipe that I ordered is 3 inches.. Can a muffler shop make it fit no problem or is some kind of adapter needed?

I'm no muffler specialist, but they should be able to reduce and weld that no problem. Whether that's goood or not for exhaust flow I have no idea.

From what I was hearing, the OEM x-pipe and back aren't too restrictive so it shouldn't be too bad for airflow I hope. My car's barely going to make above stock HP anyways... for now haha

What pipe did you get? And please post if it makes any noticeable change in your exhaust tone, I want to make my exhaust louder, just don't have the $2k to do it at the moment.

I got kooks headers (1-7/8th) and their catted connection pipe. Wanted to hook it up to my OEM x-pipe, but looks like I might as well just buy a full catback. I'll post clips once installed!

Oh wow, I thought you were just putting in a new xpipe, she going to sound like a beast with headers!

When I do TSP Headers, I'm going to do a full aFe cat back. Just makes sense. But does add a significant expense

My bad! Should've explained more, but yeah doing headers, but now wondering if i should buy a 3 inch catback as well to not deal with sizing issues lol

Makes a lot of sense now that I think about it, but yeah the expense adds up so much. Why are these exhaust systems for the 6th gen so damn expensive!
