GRRRRR - I tried the pin-method after doing it successfully on several other vehicles and that was an epic failure because of the way they strapped some of the wires in my overhead console. I ended up messing up my Homelink system (but my GM dealer was nice and fixed if for me). I wish I knew about this cable earlier as I just finished hard-wiring the darn thing to a switched spot in the fusebox.

I just got this in and I ordered the extra power and negative wires to it so I can add a dash cam down the road. Just pop the cover off the liner and it click right in line. flawless.
