4300, Intermediate Delivery
4B00, Bayed
5000, Delivered to the dealer
6000, Delivered to the customer

2000 means GM has reviewed the order placed by the dealer, and approved it as "buildable". But it has not yet been sequenced for production, or accepted by the plant. That's next!

I assume about 1 week for production. So next week perhaps completed. I recall the same with BMW and it was pretty much real time on updates. Of course, we all know that these dates could shift.

Also, on a side note, if we are getting 750 cars a year. That comes out to about 14 cars a week. Sounds like quite a few of us got the same TPW. Based on some of the responses, it would appear that there are several cars being produced in the first week. Does GM run a line over a specific duration, then switch to another model for another duration or shutdown for maintenance? If that's the case, then it would make sense to see a burst of produced cars sporadically.
It's fairly accurate, and real-time. The TPW date is just the Monday of the week they are building. I've ordered three cars, this 2018 being the fourth, and all of my orders have usually been built mid-way, or later in the week of that date.

They are only building ZL1 1LEs during this week in June. And there will only be one week in July...and one week in August, etc. So expect 60-some ZL1 1LEs to be delivered in the next few weeks.

This is only half-true.

Last year, they only built ZL1s one week per month. This year, they are doing the same thing with ZL1 1LEs. So, although other cars are mixed into the line...the ZL1 1LEs are only being built this week, this month.

ssrallyred - I recommend you ask your dealer to provide you with a printout of the status sheet of your order. It'll be a chart, showing all the codes, dates, and details of the path your order has taken. You can also chat with Chevy.com, and ask for a update on your order...they can provide you with your TPW, as well.

Has anyone with a ZL1 1LE TPW of 6/12 seen any movement beyond that?

I just got my OnStar activated. It is sitting in Lansing, MI. I can see it right next to all the rails. So hopefully it's ready to get on a train. Looks like it has 3 miles on it.

Just curious, you guys who are doing the OnStar thing, how are you doing this? I have my VIN but how can I access OnStar?

I'm so blown away by the fact that these are almost real that I'm not sure I care to know every little detail but if it's easy I don't mind taking a quick look...

Thanks,

DM
