WOW!! I dont feel bad about changing at 500 and again at 1500 although the dealership tried to talk me out of both!!!

I did the same thing, I changed engine oil and installed mag plug at 500 miles.
Then changed ALL oils at 1500.

Mine is a M6, tranny had a lot of metal shavings clear as day.
The rear end had that same type of metal dust as the engine.

Some guys say YES some say NO.

My M6 did NOT have a mag plug on the tranny.
I have to order one now, LOL
install it on the FILL side so I don't have to drain again, LOL

Good idea on putting it on the fill side. I think i will pull the fill plug and if it is not i will order one. Thank You Sir!
