Final MSRP will vary depending on model and options. Having said that the price increase should only be around a $360 increase from '17 to '18.

I expected the price to go up more than it did.
I was pleasantly surprised as well. I expected the increase to be a little higher. However, I ordered (and had a 3400 code) prior to pricing being announced - does that lock me into '17 pricing? FWIW, I'm expecting to pay for the increase.

I ask because everyone says they will never pay MSRP and curious how you get around it

Correct. Options and equipment will change the price.

People say they will never pay MSRP, because that acronym means: "Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price."...and because it's only "suggested" price, many dealers willing to work with a customer will offer discounts, credits, or just general haggling on the price. And many customers have privileges to discounts like educators, military, supplier, or friends and family.

No, I also ordered before pricing was released. If you're getting a 2018 car, you're paying 2018 prices.

Hopefully by the end of June, early July. Production started this week for 2018s, and ZL1 1LE models, in particular.
