Some 2018 model year builds could be on the line tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if any actually roll off (3800), so it is possible there may be a VIN or two Saturday.

This is my first dance with a custom ordered Chevrolet vehicle. For those of you who have been down this road before, what's to be expected at this point? How long does it take from tomorrow until the car is ready for pickup at the dealer? In my case it's an east coast dealer so I'm not sure how that plays into the timing.

Thanks for any info you care to share.

There is a lot to it, if and I say that with a straight face, there are no big updates in the 2018 car compared to the past model year car, then it up to marketing as to how long GM wants to hold 2018 cars up, before there shipped, let's hope that in 2-8 weeks the 2018 will hit the market place, if there is no hold, look for them to get to dealers in 2-4 weeks.

My 17 was built 5/22, 3 weeks ago and is still sitting in the lot outside the plant. You never know... Quality holds, rail/truck logistics, etc...

Thank you. So 4-8 weeks is the likely spread. I can live with that. Got a track day at the very end of July and I was hoping to take the ZL1 1LE but if it doesn't come in time it will be fine.
