So it turns out my problem with Harry's stemmed from the storage being almost full on my phone; that'll happen with multiple GB driving video files.

Today I was at Texas World Speedway with NASA's Fall Fling event driving HPDE. Got a bunch of laps through four sessions on the track. I thought I held my own, all the HPDE groups were running together so there was a Gen 5 ZL1 running sub 2:00 laps and other folks in lesser cars running 2:30+.

My best time was a 2:13:38 and most of my laps were in the 2:14-2:17 range when I wasn't being held up.

It's been a while, but I finally got Black Betty out on the track! Tonight was Track Night in America at Motorsport Ranch Cresson. We ran the 1.7 mile course CCW. I was running in the intermediate group. There were two other Gen6's out there tonight - both 1LEs.

This was my best lap in the third heat: 1:28:95

Good times! Tomorrow I'll be at Harris Hill down in San Marcos.

Nice. Seemed like you were being held up a bit in the technical part at the beginning.

I did notice that you consistently hit 0.1 - 0.2 g's higher in the left turns than in the rights.

Interesting note on the lateral differences between my Left and Right turns. I didn't notice that. I'm driving at Harris Hill tonight so I'll see if it continues.

Re: being held up in the corners - you'll notice me chuckle at the 0:30 point. That is because that 911 Turbo got a blue flag due to the Camaro taking up all of his rear view mirror. That appeared to tick him off so he picked it up allowing me to get my best time of the day!

Some more fun from last night. Here are a couple of laps including a supercharged C6 Vette, old Dodge Viper, and that blue 911 Turbo. There is a Mustang, of course, holding everything up.

Great job, bud. Isn't the car amazing? BTW...that course in Austin seems more like an autoX than a road course. Not many straights. I have to think that was the intent?

Yes, Driveway's L1 course is specifically designed to work out slow-mid speed vehicle dynamics in the X-Y plane only. If you watch the videos of the L3 course, you'll notice it's an extension of the L1 track with elevation changes and high speed portions.

Had another good time at SCCA's TNiA - this time at Harris Hill in San Marcos, TX. My lap times were consistently faster this trip than my fastest lap from the last trip and my quickest time improved by over 4 seconds! Here are my best two laps:

On this last one I ended the lap a bit too fast and explored the offroad capabilities of the Camaro after turn 1. I included it here for everyone's entertainment!
