Knock and timing question
So I was monitoring my whipple at start up tonight and went to the knock count is read 104 i rev'd the motor a little no change i think looked at the timing and it was -2.3 are these numbers acceptable for FI

What catchcan system are you running? You have a 11.5:1 CR GDI engine and it cannot tolerate any oil mist ingestion as that is the primary cause of knock in these, especially FI where your raising cylinder pressures even higher.

I keep reading conflicting info... Some are stating that some blowby is fine as it lubes the valves in a DFI setup, others say that octane drop from the oil is deadly... I'm running meth to go above 91's octane wall and using the vehicles PCV system as ProCharger has it. I've heard form the rep, Erik, himself that he uses the normal procharger instruction manual setup. Is there evidence stating that a catchcan must be used with these setups?

I'm not running a catch can, but have the Meth kicking in at about 4lbs. Didn't really see any oil in the intake at the time I switched to the Maggie. I'll will probably add one this summer sometime.
