Seems to be working pretty well. Reporting seemed to work, so as long as I can see/report police I'm happy (as that's the only reason I use Waze over Google Maps anyway).

Older than Nougat OS's do. Consider it a bug that you used to be able to do it as you're not supposed to be able to do anything on the phone directly when using AA.

Mine is not doing that, it goes right back into Waze again. This must be dependent on the phone you use. Mine is a phone made for Google, the Nexus 6P, it's always got the very latest Android O/S, it's updated at least two times a month

I have a S7, so its probably phone related.

Quick question...I connected my S8 really quick yesterday when I got home, updated to the new Beta Waze and then connected via USB with AA. Where do you actually see the Waze app on the screen, just it just incorporate into Google Maps?

You should see the arrow on the map icon (the one used to pick different apps for the music icon). Waze should be an option there now.

You have to be running the Waze beta for Android Auto, it's different than the normal Waze Beta. If you're in the Waze AA beta program, you get a link in an email for it. The normal beta testers won't get this, only those registered for the Android Auto beta

He was talking about how to launch it in Android Auto itself. Another member posted the link to the apk for the Waze AA beta which works.

Yeah I have the beta version, downloaded and installed the other day. I didn't get a chance to try it again yesterday, planning on trying it later, maybe on the way home from work.
