Blendmount for 17 ZL1 with PDR

Don't have my car yet... which Blendmount did you guys order for 2017 ZL1 with PDR? ID-CHE-007 or ID-CHE-010 I have an Escort MAX detector.

They have an extended arm they can sell to help fix the GPS signal issue. Anybody try it?

Thank you

I have it for the 1LE, don't know if different for the ZL1. I do notice the gps getting lost sometimes, but honestly the red light camera notices are annoying as hell. The benefit of the gps to me is the pre-determined stationary radar sites.

Can't recall what I ordered, but was specific to the car, and with the 1LE, no auto dimming, so I have the old fashioned flip button that I never use after the tint anyway.

Works good for my purposes and the site guided me on what to buy.

I went with the 007 and I am using the Max 360. No issues noticed so far. Also did the 15" blend mount mirror tap.

Didn't know there was a GPS issue...however, I bought one of the first ones and I think we had told them to try to make the arm shorter. So maybe my "OG" arm is the long version.

There is a cheaper option than the blendmount. I used this on my Corvette and it worked well for years for my Escort. I bought another one and put it in my ZL1 for my Escort Redline, works great.

The C6 mount works best. I'll have to take some photos

Thanks for the pics. That looks pretty clean and obviously, a very nice price point.
How sturdy is it? Does it vibrate?

No vibration, very sturdy. Had it on my C6 corvette for 5 years, never had any issues. The tang where the radar detector slides into does not have notches in it like the suction cup mounts do, it just slides on to it. But the fit is snug, so the detector does not easily slide off, you have to hold the mirror when you try to slide the detector off the mount. Never had mine slide off on the Corvette. The tape they use is a high temp double sided tape so it won't come off the mirror when it gets really hot in the car and you have your detector hanging from it. You can also bend the flat part that sticks to the mirror to the shape of the mirror, had to bend it a little to match the curve of the mirror. It doesn't block the light sensor on the back of the mirror, which was my biggest concern buying it. I wish my other mount from the 2013 would have worked (the one on amazon) but I tried multiple times to mount it on the round part behind the mirror and no matter what I did, when I tightened it up I couldn't adjust the mirror, the mount was in the way.
