I did it so that I could keep my stock exhaust fully intact. That way when I sell/trade the car in I can undo all the bolt on mods and return to completely stock.

BUT, additionally the Borla X pipe is a TRUE X pipe design and not the fake pipe like the stamped OEM piece. Read up on how a real X pipe should be designed. It actually changes the tone of the car as well.

This is why I ordered it. Headers will be next for me and I like the borla system over hacking out the cat and welding in pipe. It will make for a really nice exhaust system when it's complete. I debated back and forth over this for awhile. But Maryland speed made me a deal I couldn't pass up.
