Borla midpipe installed and holy crap
It's plenty loud for me and no loss of any torque. Seems the opposite, a bit more peppy, but that's likely psychological.
For anyone with NPP and wanting more loud and more gurgles, I suggest trying this first. |

Link to part? Was this the 2.75 or 3 inch versions. Borla has so many different pipes right now it's slightly confusing.

60606 - 2.75". Primary delete. Only issue was the rear of the x pipe was same diameter as the stock pipes so they expanded them and welded them on. Glad he cut 8" from the mufflers rather than 7" as instructed. This system appears made to mate to their mufflers not OEM but fixing that wasn't an issue.

I did this setup earlier this year and loved how it enhanced the stock sound (much smoother and louder with more crackle/pop to it). You can currently get it through phastek performance for $590.89 using the "lethal5" discount.
However, instead of expanding/welding it, I used a band clamp to connect the x-pipe to the npp muffler since I knew I was going to upgrade to Borla's mufflers someday. I now have the Borla Atak mufflers to compliment the x-pipe (and roto-fab dry CAI) and it now sounds waaaayyyyy better and deeper! Best investment I have made to the car so far. Some sound clips in case your interested: |

I already have the full Borla system. Secondary cat delete, with AFM, and NPP S-Type. I was only clarifying the midpipe is a secondary cat delete and not primary like someone mentioned.

What is the point of getting a midpipe that's 2.75 inches? Its the same as stock... The extra volume is just from the secondary cat delete. Why not just delete the cat and save some money.

Eventual full exhaust; it's more tidy, no issues with CEL. Why hack up your car when you can do it proper? $?
