Well went in today and bit the bullet. Order placed for 1SS 1LE in hyper blue metallic with no other options. Now the wait for delivery. They are estimating September, hoping for earlier but at this point all i can do is wait.

Hey Trenalshark, congrats man! I see your a fellow Canadian. I placed my order at the end of January this year and had the car delivered the second week of March. I was actually shocked at how quick it took. I could be mistaken, but September seems kind long. Do you know if they have an allocation?

Thanks Camarofan! Doesn't the pricing in CAD make you envious of USD my god? Lol. They will let me know about allocation and keep me updated as it progresses. All they said is there was a delay on 1LE parts so they dont want to over commit on delivery date for the 2018s. That might explain why people are seeing their build dates pushed out seems to add up anyways. If it is later I will have to discuss winter storage and run the Cobalt thru another winter (I might just keep the SS/TC trade in being so old kinda stinks) but I hope that doesnt need to happen. Fingers crossed !

No need for two order threads. The process and such has not changed. Using the current sticky thread, so people can access all of that content in one spot, I think would make the most sense. Especially as many talked about pricing, rebates, incentives and such in there, that in many cases didn't change...

Well, one of the things I was forgetting is the carbon fiber fuel door, strut tower brace and the dark finish tail lamps is something I can't get with the 1LE package, so they will go on aftermarket. My order got moved to 3000 and TPW 7/10.
