Gorgeous car congrats! My dad has a hellcat and he hats the fact there so common. Seriously the leasing deals on a hellcat are insane. At least here in LA I see at least 1 or more hellcats a day, I don't even look twice anymore.

I was kinda bummed about missing the exposed cf hood at 1st, but I love the stripe on race red now. Oh yeah, I was a victim of the black start button. Oddly, it starts the car just the same, lol. All kidding aside, I actually think it matches the interior better and prefer it to the silver one. Props to my paint protection installer. He gives every customer a photo shoot when he's done. It just seemed like my natural next move from the Hellcat. I had tried buying '16 and '17 Gt350's before I knew about the ZL1, but the dealer shenanigans turned me off. I'm glad it happened that way now because the ZL1 is a better car in my opinion. Just for perspective This has been my history of car ownership.

No brand loyalty here either and I've modded all of my cars. I love all kinds. However the only car I've really never owned was a mustang. Almost bought one back in 2010 but they were having an issue with the manual gear box. Then this past year I looked at the GT350 first then the HellCat (since I owned a 2010 SRT8) but realized what my goal was and went with the Camaro. I too didn't like what Ford dealers were doing with their mark ups and a GT350R was just unheard of. I really liked the ZL1 but just couldn't get passed the 1LE price point and what I wanted to do to the car. Great car and I think you'll be extremely happy with the performance.

Yeah, I try not to get caught up in the exclusivity mindset, but Dodge doubling production and giving rock bottom lease deals turned me off a little with the Hellcat. When they said they wanted everyone who wanted one to have one, they weren't kidding. It was cool of them from a customer service standpoint, but the values were taking a hit. The cars were holding solid before all that happened.

Oddly, because of this forum, that was one of the first things I looked for when I first sat in the car.
