Pulling the exhaust fuse

I was looking for more sound...(music to me)- not ready to do full exhaust or CAI (K&n is actually out of stock on it for zl1)-
chatted with a few members in the forum here..one of whom suggested I pull the fuse...(i keep it in track mode, so i didnt think it would matter)- well..
wow...wife drove off this am as i listened from the driveway..and wow..not so sure its louder under full throttle(i dont see how it could be) but when she let off the throttle...full blown blurp, blurp, crackle..crackle..
i suggest anyone looking for a little more music, do this bigly.
thanks again to those that assisted with the decision
-now if only somebody could help me put some pics up on here, of the beast.

Doesn't being in track mode also stiffen up the steering?

Was this the first time you've heard the car from the outside, especially when cold? Likely that's what you are hearing, not the fuse. The only time the fuse pull comes into effect in track mode is at steady state cruising speed/rpm.

Drive mode, Steering feel and exhaust sound are all controlled separately.
I felt the steering was rather high effort when I first got it so I tried the other modes. Aside from making it easier to turn it also adds in play in the system. I had to put it back into Track mode, I just can't stand that much play in the steering, even in Sport mode.

Question:
I can't be the only one to notice that the two outside tips (with the valves) are the only ones that are used. The two inside tips are clean and cool after parking while the outside two are hot and sooty.
Are the two of them just for looks?

inner two are used when the valves are shut, outer two are also used when the valves are open (obviously most of the exhaust wants to go to the path of least resistance - the outer two).

So, if I put it in stealth mode (valves mostly closed) and drive around for a while the inner tips will blacken too? I mean there is a serious difference, like the inner two are never in use.

This. Why do a fuse pull when you can customize it in the infotainment system. That was the only way to do it in the 5G ZL1. Hence the Mild to Wild switch you could add except this time Chevy did it for us.

Because you can't customize the exhaust in the display. Even in track it shuts down the valves at interstate speed.
