FIFTY Arm Rest question

I am thinking of ordering a FIFTY Arm Rest in Galvinized (Gray). Does the FIFTY Arm Rest in Gray get soiled easily? I believe it is made of suede type material. I have a Vert and sometimes my arm sweats and I am worried it would get soiled?

Mine isn't soiled and I drive with my arm resting on it. Granted I don't daily my F1FTY. My truck armrest on the other hand is stained regular leather.

I would imagine you could put something on it, Scotchguard maybe?

I might be the dissenter then

I plan on getting another set of wheels to go wider. I was thinking either 1LE or ZL1 repro's, probably in 20x10 and 20x11, and slap some flavor of UHP all season on them, as it's more appropriate for New England. And then just keep the stock wheels in the garage, like I did with my C7. I'm very ok with 90% of the performance of the summer only tires, to not have to worry about swapping them out. Plus mine is definitely a daily driver, unless there is snow / slush on the road, I'll be driving her.

I am finding it easier to resist the temptation to make the wheels black this time, the stock silver-ish looks very nice against the grey.

Of course this will have to wait for the budget to get approved by the Boss(tm).

I don't care to leave my cars bone stock, but I am a big chicken about doing anything that could potentially void the warranty.

That being said, I recently took my Fifty to a large performance-themed show. Judging was done by professionals from ejudged.com, and the point system was geared toward performance upgrades, suspension upgrades, originality.....you get the idea. (Yes, I was aware I took a knife to a gunfight). Getting to the point, the person who judged my car strongly recommended that I leave it alone. He did see that there were a few subtle changes, but did not think the type of mods needed to earn points (per the system in place) were necessarily suited to this car.

There are still a few warranty friendly mods I'd like to do, but since the Fifty will be kept indefinitely, I'll opt for preserving most of the nuances of the special edition.

I have decided to just get what I want done. Cam, headers, catch can, cold air I just pulled the trigger 600 hp here I come. He did say the stock transmission is awesome. The fireball Camaro actually uses the stock rear end. He advised against lowering the car. Said that the magnetic ride is awesome just use some BSR stuff.

Anything Automotive. They are very good at what they do. They have there hands in some of the fastest cars in the south. It will be a month before they can even start on my car.

Hey Craig. I agree with Adam. Mine is not a daily driver either, but I did spray some 3M Scotchguard LIGHTLY on the top of mine. ZERO stains or marks.......

Hey Heath - Thanks for the vote of confidence on the ZL1 Start button install.......

I only tried it myself because you said it was pretty straight forward. I did watch Sledgehammer's video about 2,674 times...

Took me a total of about 45-minutes (including "stress breaks"), and it turned out perfect!! Appreciate the confidence you gave me!

Ok I come to my Fifty brothers in need of help! As mentioned, I want to pick up a more distinctive spoiler as I don't like the tiny RS Spoiler. I was pretty set in going with the RPI Blade Spoiler expecting that it'd be on sale for Memorial Day but they've decided not to do so. Now I'm back to debating between the RPI Blade and the GM Blade. On a Fifty what do you guys think?
