Hi, I have number 198 camarofifty fifty. I received a package from gm with a 5x7 card that had picture on one side and specs on opposite side along with a group of 18x20 posters. I'm wondering if anyone else did?

Those who got the 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro got those kits. I got one as well. I have number 125.

They also made a second kit similar to that one for people who have owned 4 or more Camaros and have a 6th gen Camaro.

Got a chip yesterday and by this morning it had moved to a 4.5" crack.

Glass guy was great though.

Man, that's rough I'd rather it be glass that paint though if thta makes any sense.

I finally got my Powerstop Z23's put on the other day. I don't agree with some of the posts about similar stopping power but I'm looking forward to less dust.

Hope I get used to how they stop but I kind of miss the Brembo's so far. It's only been a couple of days and probably 50 miles or so though.

You're the only one I've heard complain about stopping power. Which ones did you get? And do you track your Camaro?

I got the Z23's since they will only be for regular street use.

I also haven't had a chance to bed them so I'm not sure if that will make a difference. It's not horrible or anything but maybe I had too high if expectations based on what people say on here. The main thing I notice is the initial bite is gone.

I know people with the Z26 haven't said anything about the bite.

My understanding was the only difference between the two was that the Z23 had a rubber backing plate and the Z26 has stainless steel. Same friction material though so I would assume the stopping would be the same?

If I can't get used to it then I'll put the Brembos back on and deal with the dust.

Gotcha. I hadn't looked at differences yet. One would think similar stopping with same friction material.

I do know the brembos make a TON of dust.

LOL yeah it's crazy. But you can't beat the way they stop. My wheels do seem to be staying much cleaner though. Haven't done a finger swipe test but they both still look bright silver instead of the gray to black transition they usually have by now.

Yeah. I had to slam on the brakes once on interstate and man they stopped great. Glad to hear cleaner with new pads. But yeah seems like which is better...stopping power or clean wheels. #camaroproblems. Lol.
