If I sent you the optional 6 piston calipers, would you be able to match the OE Fifty package decals and orange paint on the 4 pistons? Only thing holding me up from upgrading the front brakes are the color mismatch with the rears vs. the 6 piston front upgrade since I have the fifty.

I'm looking into doing this myself, a co worker has all the equipment to do powder coating, he has a side business powder coating Harley parts and offered to help.

My calipers have about 5000 miles on them, will I still need new seals? If so does anyone know the part number for these?

I believe our calipers (4 Piston Brembos) are two piece calipers, do they need to be separated to powder coat them?

What have people been doing to prevent all of the brake fluid leaking out while you send your calipers in? I plan to change my brake lines to SS lines, so I'm thinking about using hose pinchers, not worried if the line gets a bit kinked.

Just an update....I got my painted calipers from TPH Coatings last September. I got all 4 for my 2SS. Not too long after I had them put on the passenger side rear started leaking brake fluid. I didn't get a chance to do much about it becuase I put the car away for the winter not too long after.

I drove the car the other day for the first time and now the drivers side is leaking. Took the car to the place that installed them all and I was told the lower piston on each is bad.

I emailed and send a message to TPM through Facebook and he's sending me out 2 new ones as soon as he can.

Just wanted to share my experience. Very happy with his response and hopefully he can get a me a set soon so I can get them on and get driving again!!

And that is what great customer service looks like!

i am 99.9% sure they do not. 2017 ZL1 calipers are bolt on with out a adapter on our 6th gens. it is the same for 5th gens. a 5th gen caliper will not fit on a 6th gen.
