Stars really aligned, found a dealership that really wanted the Corvette, and they paid me well for it. Made sense since all they had to do was wash it, and put the window sticker back in it.

2017 50th Anniversary Edition 2SS Camaro Convertible in Nighfall Grey Metallic, 2 tone leather interior. Every option checked.

Pro:
Seats more comfy than 'vette / more room inside.
Easier on the back getting in an out of.
Nearly as quick as a Corvette.
Much cheaper insurance.
Exhaust sounds a little meaner, and a bit louder (even with top up).
Convertible.
Infotainment system faster / much more responsive, capacitive touch!
Generally easier to live with as a daily driver.
Calipers are colored to match interior / exterior accents (same color as the Corvette I sold)

Cons:
Not a Corvette.
MGW hasn't competed their shifter for Gen 6 Camaro's yet.
Won't get 30MPG at 80MPH / noticeably more thirsty.

Other:
Corvette guys don't wave to Camaro's (I waved to everyone, even Mustangs/Challengers/old muscle)
Camaro guys mostly wave.
Mustang drivers still ignore me.
Challenger / Charger drivers wave a lot (still)
Not really thrilled with matte grey stripe down the middle of the car. It's just a vinyl decal, most likely will remove it and leave DSOM stripes.
6 speed vs 7 speed... definitely different.

Overall, I ****ing love this car, really. It's what I should have gotten 1.5 years ago, but having a Corvette didn't exactly suck, it just wasn't what I wanted out of a car. When the thrill of "omg C7!" wore off, I started looking again. This deal was perfect.

Had to think long and hard about it, and believe I made the right decision. Your review confirms it..... CONGRATS again, and yes, I still LOVE those Vets to!!
